About
Coast Media Collective is a loosely formed, independent group of film makers, musicians, designers, and other artists. Our goal is to expose and expand our individual projects through collective collaboration and sharing. We believe in maintaining a strong D.I.Y. ethos and grass roots ideals. Coast Media Collective is independent media – free from the dictates of mass corporate control. We hope you enjoy our work, as much we enjoy creating it.

Chris ‘Okibi’ Wakefield The creative force behind Union Sound System, Chris (a.k.a. Okibi) is a selector of all things bass-heavy and grimey. He produces drum and bass, dubstep, and breaks, and is known for his up-beat live p.a. shows and all vinyl sets. Outside of music, Chris is the sole editor of Nom de Guerre, a street art and graffiti zine. He is also strongly politically active and identifies as an anarchist. |
